Are there any legitamate telecommuting jobs that can make 40k plus that dont require a degree?
As my wife and I both work full time, getting them to and from childcare is very time consuming and expensive. Either my wife or I have to leave work early losing hours to pick them up from school and take them to the sitters who I also pay. As I do most of the cooking and cleaning around the house it would be easiest if I could work from home. However I need to be able to replace my current income. I need a legit work at home job that can make 35 to 40k a year. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The exact reasons you described above are why you SHOULDN’T work from home. At home, you would be distracted and not as productive. Depending on your line of work, alot of employers are starting to let people work from home. If you could do your job from home, try and negotiate with your employer. You should take a paycut, since you are also cutting your expenses by working from home. You no longer need the professional clothing or the gas for the commute. But if your children will be there, you won’t get the proper amount of work done.
Try switching your children to a sitter that can pick them up, or let them take the bus home from school and have the sitter there at the house, or take the bus to the sitters house. Look at what you are spending to work. Commute, clothes, daycare and simple meals that you wouldn’t ordinarily have (like eating out more) because you work. You could take a paycut if you worked from home.
But it sounds as if you don’t have the discipline needed to do it (yet). You need a workplace free of distractions- and your home won’t offer that until you realize that cleaning, dishes and kids are not part of the workplace.

This really depends on your skills. Are you planning on having your kids when you work? The reason I ask is because some employers do not want people to have distractions while working (this is not my wording but have heard companies use this term). Also many people find it hard to work with kids around.
