I have been doing freelance web and graphic design for the past three years aside from my full time job. Most of my jobs have been found through word of mouth, businesses go to the college and, when I attended there, I was notified when a business needed a website and I would complete the task.

Now I have graduated, have my Graphic Design degree and Web design and authoring certificate, and my goal is to move into freelance work full time. I have an online portfolio website.

How can I achieve this? What are good websites where businesses can go to post jobs for freelance designers? How else can I get my name out there?

I want to make money online using an internet connection. I’m wondering if there is a place online where I can continually note my freelance hours for some of my clients. So that way they would be able to go in and check what I worked on and for how long. Of course I could keep emailing them that in an excel sheet or just word. But this way it would stay online forever and would be more streamlined….any ideas?

Im 17 and i do freelance work online, i get really annoyed when my parents walk into my room and tell "do this.. and that" and "Stop playing on your pc". I’ve been working as an online freelancer for quite some time, and I’ve been working for a certain client who has always been quite late on payments. We’ve gotten along pretty well over the past months, but now she owes me for a couple of articles I wrote. I’ve been sending her messages, IMs, but all to no avail. Freelance writing is one of the most popular ways of earning easy cash online. I just wanted to know in the light of Islam, if it would be prohibited to do assignments for some student in return for money as this would be cheating? Because their professors would be expecting their students to have done those assignments when actually someone else has done them. Freelance writers are only given orders to do, they attempt those assignments and get paid. No one knows whose it was and where it went.

Kindly give me your views as I really want to know what Islam says on it because money earned from a source that involves cheating is Haram and eating haram means punishment in the Hereafter and the Wrath of Allah. So what do you think?
