Discuss the advantages and disadvantages of telecommuting versus working in a traditional office.?

   I’ve been a teleworker for the past two years…I do medical transcription for a large hospital.

   Advantages: I have a four-year old car that only has 30,000 miles on it….I only have to fill my gas tank up once a month…I save money on work clothes and meal money….as soon as I quit working, I’m home (no rush hour traffic)…no getting caugh up in office politics.

   Disadvantages: It can be very isolating with no one to talk to all day or ask questions if I can’t decipher something…my house used to feel like my refuge after a long day, and now it kinda feels like my prison…and there’s absolutely NO valid excuse for being late for work.

   You spend less time travelling and on clothes, more time doing work
