Hi,
I am already into marketing and distribution business and have a well established marketing firm.
Now, I would like to provide some livelihood to the ppl in my surrounding by employing them with data entry and a sort of freelancing work. Neither money nor manpower is a problem.
I have been through many online sites but could not differentiate the crap from the genuine work. If you are willing to partner with me by providing projects, kindly get back to me @ mikaarun@yahoo.com.

So let’s start this by saying I am 17 years old. I won’t be turning 18 until February. I live in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Anyways, I got an offer from someone online where I can make 250$ a week for coding and keeping a website up to date. He’d normally be paying me ‘under the counter’ via PayPal, but I will be quitting my part time job for this and would like to stay ‘legal’, but I have no idea how the system works.
How exactly would I go about paying taxes for this? I’d make about 1000$ a month (which could go up if we find more clients to make websites for)
What should I do to avoid legal trouble? Do I even have to worry about this until I’m 18? This is a great deal for me as it isn’t even that much work for me to code and keep a website up to date… Big money maker for me seeing that I’m only 17. Not gonna pass this up.
Any help/suggestions/comments would be helpful, thanks.
The guy about the websites is a friend I’ve been talking to for a while on MSN messenger.
I also get paid to post on a forum and post reviews for video games, and I get paid via western union…
Do I have to list exactly what I did to earn what? Do I even have to mention any of this to any of the clients or people paying me? I really know nothing about this.
Actually, if someone who knows a lot about this could add me on MSN messenger and talk to me about it that’d be great. My MSN is lf2fireandice@yahoo.com

I’m currently a teacher looking up to pick up a little extra salary, and am wondering if there are legitimate work-from-home type jobs out there I could do in my "spare time" after work (3-10p). I have looked on Monster, Yahoo, Hotjobs, and others, but I’m unsure what to look for — most telecommute jobs don’t sound reasonable. Any ideas?

Hi all
I posted a similar question about 3 months ago, and would like to thank all those that answered my question.
But I am putting the question back out there, because 100% of
job offers that have come to me through various sources (Yahoo Hotjobs, Careerbuilder, Craigslist, etc.) are SPAM and ask you to buy their "free" software (for which you have to pay shipping & handling!).
So if anyone knows of any legitimate companies that have an actual OFFICE that you can contact, and are looking for people to telecommute on a part-time basis, please let me know.
I already have a full-time job, but a little extra cash never hurts, so I would greatly appreciate any responses.
Thanks

I am researching telecommuting jobs and came across this company at premiumretail.com I have spoken with a rep there twice but am a little leary signing up with them especially cause they’re not local. How would I go about checking to see if it is a legitimate business?
I found this assignment through a Yahoo group called MomsMysteryShoppers and haven’t been asked to pay any fees yet. I also looked them up on BBB and they are NOT a member.

I seriously looking out for these jobs. So kindly help me.
Thank you in anticipation
I am staying in India. I find that most of the home based jobs are provided by foreign companies to local people.
And most of them asking for experience previously and I don’t have the same. But I do have a typing speed of 50 per minute. Initially I require data entry type of jobs.
Kindly provide the necessary references and information.

For this new job, I need to be in the office. But I think I can handle telecommuting job before/after work or during weekend. (I just need to get things done. When I work is not terribly important for telecommuting job.)
Is this Legal? I am reading lots of posts that it is in yahoo answers page, but also saw someone saying it is not legal. I can’t find legal documents that states it is legal or illegal.
Am I required to tell my employers? They are in different industry and not competitor whatsoever. (no conflict of interest in that matter)
I really want to know definite answer. I read people who have done it, but it looks like it is in different shift like 9am-5pm, 6pm-2am. In my case, it can overlap, in somewhat similar like a writer for wallstree journal (I am not writer) writing for another freelance job while he is in the office…
Thanks in advance. I don’t know how this will turn out, I might quit one job (most likely) in a few months IF I can’t handle both
Yes, It is legitimate full time position. I get salary and small year end bonus.
I have not signed any kind of agreement other than standard employment agreement which didn’t say anything about not having another job…

Thanks to Yahoo answers about playing Holdem for cash. I’ve been on their a week or two and I would say 66 percent of the time, place in the top 3 at pokerstars SnG tables (3.30 and 15 NL holdem).
My question is it realistic to think of my winnings as a part time second job. All I want to do is fund my IRA roth for next year thru winnings.
Is this a realistic expectation. How would I know to progress up to the higher games? Any websites that can formulate a plan?

I’m on my way to my second career, earning my Bachelor’s degree in Education. Being a student sometimes is synonymous with being poor when your paying for everything, and have two children in the home as well. I do have some time left for another venture, and really need to generate some additional income badly if I am to continue forward with the last year and a half of my degree. The goal is to not have to take on a second job away from home that would take me away from my kids more than what I am now. That just isn’t possible. The business has to be a viable home based one, preferably something web based. One that is completely legitimate, not some sort of scam. I can supply more details about what I have to work with if you are a person that has opportunity, and would like to talk. I can be reached at maybcyaround@yahoo.com anytime. I thank you in advance, and look forward to reading your ideas!

I all ready visit Writersrow.Com on a daily basis for freelance writing job leads, which often leads me to Craigslist.Org postings, but I am wondering if anyone in the Yahoo! Answers community knows of other sites that I can visit that don’t require I be a member or subscribe to a service to contact people.
I also try looking at MySpace Classifieds, my local online classifieds, Monster.Com, etc, but I’m usually disappointed with my results. What I’m looking for are the more "underground" websites – nothing main stream, that are safe and reliable sources for me to find freelance work.
Because I refuse to work for a paycheck and I refuse to give up half my paycheck to put gas in a car that I, honestly, don’t have.
Thanks for your help!

I am from Australia and I am setting up a web based business in the US. The sole revenue source will be adsense and YPN. If I were to incorporate in Delaware, would this be considered taxable as Google and Yahoo are both incorporated in Delaware. I will technically not be doing any business in Delaware other than incorporating. Is it better to incorporate outside of Delaware in this case…. such as Wyoming?
